Types of Corrosion Protection Products
Film:
Corrosion protection film is available in bags, covers, and wide film. Films are commonly used to pack large machines, to protect complete pallet loads, and to wrap metal parts that need protection. Film is available in wide sizes so that large covers can be produced. In addition corrosion protection film also allows large machines to be transported long distanced without further treatment against corrosion.
Foam:
Corrosion protection foam pieces are available in different sizes. This product is often added to an existing non-corrosion protected packaging. Foam is often used inside electrical and electronical cabinets, inside boxes and crates, or in existing hermetic packagings. Corrosion treated foam is complementary to film. A higher concentration of VCI in the foam creates a faster saturation of the closed environment. Film and foam combined; allow packing complex machines with high-tech components where complete protection of the whole environment is quickly achieved.
Paper:
Corrosion protection paper is used to wrap metal parts, as protective layer between metal parts in metal boxes, as inner covering of wooden crates, or as sheet in small boxes. The paper can be coated on one side to make it more resistant to existing oil and grease on the metal.
Emitters, Powders, Tablets and Liquids:
Corrosion protection emitters are perfectly suitable for use in closed cabinets to protect electrical and electronical parts. Emitters are a very user friendly protection method – unpack emitter, stick emitter in cabinet, close cabinet – ready.
Corrosion protection powder is mainly used in closed systems, on the floor of big machines, in closed pipes and constructions. It can be blown in or added to closed loop water systems. Tablets protect metal parts in small boxes or small packaging.
Corrosion protection
liquids are available for a wide range of different applications.
