Nefab's Sourcing Organisation
 
 
 

The purchasing and sourcing organisation in Nefab stands on 2 main legs:

1. Raw material purchasing for our production which is mainly steel band and plywood sheets. The responsibilities belong to each Supply Units and Group support as well as strategic orientation given by Nefab Supply (Nefab operations).
 

2. Sourcing of traded material which is about different finished or semi-finished packaging components. Responsibilities belong to each Market Units and Group support in addition to strategic orientation given by the Product Managers together with the Group Sourcing Manager (Nefab Customer Solutions).

 

Investments are either a local board decision or main board decision, depending on the size of the investment. Project managers or purchasers are the ones to lead the purchasing of specific equipment.

 

Our suppliers are considered as a strategic asset; therefore we do pay particular attention to the relationship towards our partners. Cooperation with Nefab is based on long term perspectives and win-win situations in the respect of our customers’ interest.
