THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE
In order to be circular, materials must be recycled or otherwise naturally degrade. Mixed material solutions require separation of elements before recycling, which adds additional challenges to the chain. As such, more and more companies and countries are implementing strict measures to reduce waste.

FiberFlute contributes to a more sustainable society without sacrificing functionality. It minimizes landfill waste by utilizing 100% recycled fiber-based solutions. ECO-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE TO FOAM
In a comparative analysis between polyethylene foam (30kg/m3) and Nefab's FiberFlute type 190 (lowest density in the FiberFlute range), we used equivalent material thickness (20/40/60mm) to verify which solution performed better. The result showed 40-45% lower G-values for FiberFlute, which means that less material is required to protect products when using FiberFlute as compared to polyethylene.
