Nefab Leadership Team and all employees are committed to following and adhering to this Policy, integrated as part of our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Nefab strives to ensure environmental protection within our operations and business relations, and we also commit to not directly funding climate-denial activities, and/or lobbying against climate or other environmental protection regulations.
PROTECTION OF ENVIRONMENT AND PREVENTION OF POLLUTION
Nefab’s objective is to help safeguard the environment by preventing pollution and mitigating environmental risks that may occur because of business operations. We achieve this through optimizing energy, materials, and water consumption, using sustainable materials and energy sources whenever possible, lowering noise and air emissions, and avoiding negative environmental impacts.
COMPLIANCE OBLIGATIONS
Nefab has established processes and resources to ensure that all applicable legal and regulatory environmental requirements are fulfilled. Nefab commits to comply with any other obligations it has assumed with partners and/or other interested parties.
CLIMATE CHANGE AND NET-ZERO EMISSIONS
Nefab aims to combat climate change and commits to achieve net-zero CO2eq emissions. To achieve that, SBTi goals have been defined, and plans and programs shall be put in place for the reduction of emissions and transition to renewable energy sources.
PRODUCT AND SERVICE SUSTAINABILITY
Nefab works to improve circular economy by considering environmental aspects and prevention of pollution, together with the 3-Rs principle (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle), during the development and design of new packaging concepts and solutions for our customers. Our teams are committed to searching and striving to introduce new and more sustainable materials with lower environmental impact.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Nefab proactively collaborates with the different business partners for the development and improvement of sustainable solutions, as well as for capacity building on environmental issues. We engage with these stakeholders to improve circularity and decrease CO2eq emissions through reduction plans through the supply chain.
CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
Nefab secures continual improvement through the implementation and monitoring of environmental objectives and targets, as well as deploying the necessary measures for mitigation, prevention, and correction of environmental impact. Recyclability and reusability, reduction of materials, CO2 footprint and hazardous substances are also considered in the management of Nefab’s general activities, products, and services.
