Nefab names Staffan Pehrson new CEO

The Board of Directors in Nefab Group AB has appointed Staffan Pehrson new CEO. After a long career with leading communications technology company Ericsson, most recently serving as VP & Head of Product Related Services of Global Services, Pehrson will assume his new position on September 1st 2016.

Given Nefab’s strong position and market opportunities, the ownership and Board of Directors shows its intentions to focus on increasing the company’s rate of development, by recruiting Staffan Pehrson.

- Today, we have a strong position both financially and on the international packaging market. With a new CEO soon in place, we are now fully focused on driving profitable growth with increased rate of change and to further develop our business in terms of our offering and position on the market, says Per Hallius, Chairman of the Board, Nefab Group AB.

Staffan Pehrson is 47 years old and holds an Executive MBA degree from Stockholm School of Economics and a MSc in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University. Pehrson worked at Ericsson for 23 years, holding senior positions in various business units, market units, industrial collaborations and subsidiaries.

- It is with great enthusiasm and respect for Nefab’s long and successful history I take on this mission. Nefab has a strong position on their market and I am looking forward to carry on the journey the company is currently on, in terms of change and development, says Staffan Pehrson.

- Staffan’s comprehensive leadership experience, his ability to generate results and his extensive knowledge in the telecommunications market – an important customer segment – will be an important factor in Nefab’s development towards profitable growth.
