Nefab Packaging Hungary Kft. has implemented complex work force development project recently where Nefab employees have participated in GINOP Plus-3.2.1-21 "Improving the adaptability andand productivity of companies and employees through workforce development" project in 2023-2024.

Grant 1: Nefab Packaging OÜ received support from the European Union's NextGenerationEU recovery fund to establish a solar power plant. The goal of this project is to both increase the Nefab's supply security and to ultimately reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. With this solar power plant, we aim to reduce our own consumption of fossil fuels and the amount of electricity consumed from the power grid.The total value of the grant for this project that Nefab received from the NextGenerationEU fund was 46,000 euros.
Grant 2: Nefab Packaging OÜ digital transformation project received support from NextGenerationEU, the European Union's recovery plan to increase the digitalization of Nefab Packaging OÜ production. This also helps to increase the company's added value per employee. As a result of the project, the company will acquire a plywood digital printer, which will remove the company's dependence on other companies and make the entire silk screen printing process faster and easier. The total value of the grant for this project that Nefab received from the NextGenerationEU fund was 85,000 euros.
The project “Nefab Packaging OÜ Resource Efficiency Investments” received funding from the European Union Cohesion Policy Fund.
Project Summary:
By acquiring a packaging finishing line, Nefab Packaging OÜ’s production will become more resource-efficient. As a result of the project, products will be manufactured using fewer resources and with higher resource productivity. The introduction of the finishing line will reduce paint consumption per unit of output and decrease heating demand. Through the implementation of the project, production will become more efficient and create the capability to increase production volumes.
Project Objective and Outcome:
The objective of the project is to introduce a new finishing line that reduces paint usage per unit of production and lowers the company’s heat demand. The implementation of the finishing line will improve the quality of product finishing and increase the company’s production capacity. As a result of the project, the company’s resource productivity will increase, and the technological solution used is innovative.
