UV-resistant and suitable for outdoor storage, it offers high tensile strength, optimal stretch, and excellent recovery. Fully recyclable, it is a safe and sustainable alternative to steel strapping.
Composite strapping is a manually applied polyester fiber band with a protective coating. As a safe, cost-effective alternative to steel, it is ideal for heavy loads. UV- and chemical-resistant, easy to handle, and secured with buckles or seals, it maintains tension, can be retightened, and does not damage the load.
Steel strapping is ideal for securing heavy, sharp-edged, or hot loads. Its performance is defined by four key characteristics: dimensions (wider and thicker straps provide higher breaking strength), corrosion protection, elongation, and winding type (ribbon or oscillated).
Unlike polyester textile strapping, woven polyester strapping uses cross-woven yarns instead of glued fibers, making it highly resistant to cuts from sharp-edged loads. It is treated with cold glue for added stiffness and strength when used with metal buckles. For best performance, phosphate buckles are recommended over galvanized ones.
